PNG and JPG to EPUB

Scans, exported pages, a photographed manuscript: a folder of images becomes one book, one image per page, in the order a person would put them in.

PNG, JPEG, WebP and GIF. Drop several folders and each becomes its own book, named after the folder.

Page order

Filenames are sorted the way a person reads them, so page9 comes before page10 rather than after page1. Inconsistent zero-padding is the single most common reason a converted set of scans comes out shuffled, and this is the fix for it.

The first image becomes the cover. Each page keeps its filename as its contents entry, which is far more useful than “Page 3” when you assembled the pages yourself.

What the book is

A fixed-layout EPUB: each page is one image sized to fit the screen, with the reflow controls switched off, because reflowing a picture of a page makes no sense. The pixel dimensions of each image are written into the page so a reader can lay it out before the image has loaded.

Nothing is resampled, recompressed or colour-corrected. The images in the book are the images you supplied.
