Edit
Metadata, cover and chapters
Fix the things a converter got wrong: a title that is really a filename, a missing author, a cover that was lost, chapters in the wrong order. Edits apply immediately and are written when you download.

Why the title matters more than it looks
Every reader and library sorts by the metadata inside the file, not by its name on disk. A book whose title is calibre_output_final_2 will sit under C forever, on every device it is ever copied to. Fixing it once here fixes it everywhere.
Removing a chapter
Removing a section drops it from the reading order and the contents list, and drops any image only that section used. Nothing is deleted from your original file — the edit produces a new one.
Check the result in the reader before replacing the copy on your device.
